Thanks for the music. France Gall is one of my favourite French singers and I especially enjoy her early work. Her jazz offerings are good samples of French spins on Bop and Cool Jazz (kinda like Brigitte Bardot). Emilie Simon is a more contemporary chanteuse and she has an amazing voice that is lilting, strong, and exquisitely controlled.
