22% Believe Bush Knew About 9/11 Attacks in Advance
Friday, May 04, 2007
Democrats in America are evenly divided on the question of whether George W. Bush knew about the 9/11 terrorist attacks in advance. Thirty-five percent (35%) of Democrats believe he did know, 39% say he did not know, and 26% are not sure.
Republicans reject that view and, by a 7-to-1 margin, say the President did not know in advance about the attacks. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 18% believe the President knew and 57% take the opposite view.
Overall, 22% of all voters believe the President knew about the attacks in advance. A slightly larger number, 29%, believe the CIA knew about the attacks in advance. White Americans are less likely than others to believe that either the President or the CIA knew about the attacks in advance. Americans are more likely than their elders to believe the President or the CIA knew about the attacks in advance.
However, just 8% of voters say the CIA was Very Truthful before the War in Iraq. Another 33% believe the CIA was Somewhat Truthful. Most, 52%, believe the CIA was Not Very Truthful or Not at All Truthful before the War.
Still, 57% have a favorable opinion of the CIA. Thirty-six percent (36%) have an unfavorable view.
Former CIA Director George Tenet doesnt fare so well. He is viewed favorably by 29% of voters and unfavorably by 49%.
Just 12% have followed news stories about Tenets new book Very Closely. Another 29% have followed the stories Somewhat Closely. Fifty-six percent (56%) have not been following the news stories about Tenet.
“And they believe Bush was selected, not elected, and then Diebold rigged the 04 race.”
Yes, the very Diebolds THEY *insisted* we must all use now because of ‘00.
!@$!@$$@#!$
And represent 100% of the Democrat BASE!!
Exactly what my husband notes, all the time!
This survey proves, once again, that many (not all) Democrats are complete idiots.
I’d estimate that about 19% of Americans think that GWB piloted the planes into the buildings.
I'll bet the 1-in-7 Republicans that polled the same way will also have a specific voting tendency in the primary election. Gee, I wonder who they support?
No. 100 years ago, we didn’t have all these America-hating communists in our very own midst, of our own “blood”.
You know, this is a good point.
There should be a “poll series” where some 10 questions are asked, maybe including 1 of these wacky thing like 9/11 conspiracy.
Most of the questions should be about basics of physics and so on, which are well-known (at least by physicists). There would be irrefutable evidence to say the person is “right” or “wrong”.
Then we can compare how stupid they are with how they answered the 9/11 question.
I swear that Demorats drink different water than the rest of us...
Anyone who thinks he knew is sick in the head.
Wow! 22 percent of America is apparently idiots. Thank God we still have 78 percent who are somewhat sane. I try to take the positive approach. lol.
This is shocking.
Only 40% of all Dimocrats are idiots?
I’d have put it at closer to 90%.
Hmm. I wonder how number that correlates with the number of folks who think that UFO’s are stored at a secret base in New Mexico.
I'd love to see pollsters use questions like this and control for the responses! Wouldn't you just love to see that one more sentence: "Three-quarters of those 22% also believe Elvis lives"?
Not to mention, with the help of the MSM, put our troops in danger, too.
Thats all we need. Armed moonbats!
