22% Believe Bush Knew About 9/11 Attacks in Advance
Friday, May 04, 2007
Democrats in America are evenly divided on the question of whether George W. Bush knew about the 9/11 terrorist attacks in advance. Thirty-five percent (35%) of Democrats believe he did know, 39% say he did not know, and 26% are not sure.
Republicans reject that view and, by a 7-to-1 margin, say the President did not know in advance about the attacks. Among those not affiliated with either major party, 18% believe the President knew and 57% take the opposite view.
Overall, 22% of all voters believe the President knew about the attacks in advance. A slightly larger number, 29%, believe the CIA knew about the attacks in advance. White Americans are less likely than others to believe that either the President or the CIA knew about the attacks in advance. Americans are more likely than their elders to believe the President or the CIA knew about the attacks in advance.
However, just 8% of voters say the CIA was Very Truthful before the War in Iraq. Another 33% believe the CIA was Somewhat Truthful. Most, 52%, believe the CIA was Not Very Truthful or Not at All Truthful before the War.
Still, 57% have a favorable opinion of the CIA. Thirty-six percent (36%) have an unfavorable view.
Former CIA Director George Tenet doesnt fare so well. He is viewed favorably by 29% of voters and unfavorably by 49%.
Just 12% have followed news stories about Tenets new book Very Closely. Another 29% have followed the stories Somewhat Closely. Fifty-six percent (56%) have not been following the news stories about Tenet.
The irony is that the same 22% who think Bush isn’t smart enough to chew gum believe he’s clever enough to pull off the biggest inside job of all time.
To bad you are not around to enjoy it.
I’m so sick of polls i could hurl.
Where’s the barf alert?
Probably so. Sure that these are the same that believe we never put a man on the moon.
probaly some idiot who was just agreeing with the idiotic liberals. they’re problay the same ones who believe FDR knew about pearl harbor.
With that many nutjobs running around loose, the wonder is that the Republic is in a good shape as it is!
I called him to thank him and said, "if this is true, WHY ARE YOU NOT GOING WITH ME TO THE GUN SHOW IN RALEIGH SAT A.M.???? He said "huh?" and I said, "look, if those guys are really that evil, should you not ARM yourself against their murderous tyranny? THAT is the reason why we second amendment types believe so much in arming ourselves. It is the last defense against tyrants, whether I buy into this particular conspiracy or not." He stopped a minute and said "I think you are right!"
I don't know if he will go, but it never hurts to have people fearful of too much government power. This will lead to government being respectfully fearful of the populace, which keeps them in check....., or at least, so thought our forefathers.
Irony is most often lost on the Dims...
They may be idiots but some of them still vote.
” 1 in four of the humans you interact with every day is a complete jackass.”
did you include the government workers in the j-—a— count?
They said it on south park...1 in every four people are retards
I met someone the other day, a normally intelligent woman, who believes we did not land on the moon.
You know, with people like this in the population. you have to believe in God, because it’s a miracle we haven’t blown ourselves up by now.
Polls exist to plant false ideas — as fact.
They used to go to the universities to obtain outrageous ideas, but then the Ward Churchills of the world thought they really were credible persons and wouldn’t go away back into the intellectual boonies.
So now the polls exist to plant false ideas and memories into the American public — because they no longer have to pretend to take the Cindy Sheehans seriously — and those others who will overstay their fifteen minutes of fame.
A poll like this is about as useless as a screen door on a submarine.
These people should not be allowed permits to carry a weapon. We should think long and hard before we let them be around children or drive cars.
What is sad is that they are teaching our kids in schools at all levels across the country.
It’s obvious that Bush knew about it in advance. How else could he, Cheney, and Rove plant the explosives to bring the WTC buildings down?
“Who are the Republican morons?”
Democrats claiming to be Republicans to skew the results plus those confused about what day of the week it is.
But how else would you keep out the mosquitos?
