Yeah. They did thier busuness destroying Hitler now they are not needed anymore. Jut simagine what would happen with Europe if Stalin stopped the war with Hitler in 1944 on the border of USSR? What if Allied forces on West met the whole German army not thier 1/3 part?
I understand that the gratitude isn’t nation trait but during those battles those soviet soldier were the allies of Americans. Thier monuments to be destroyed then American are too.
They were fighting for a totalitarian state that slaughtered millions of Ukranians. Had not Adolf broken the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, your fathers/grandfathers may have been fighting at his side.
