LYING alongside one another, these beautiful babies look like they could have been born weeks or even months apart - in fact, they are identical twin boys, who were born with just a minute separating them.
Weighing in at a tiny 1.54kg, Byron Ryman's birthweight was almost double that of his brother Lincoln's, who was just 530g when he was delivered on March 15 at the Royal Hospital for Women at Randwick in Sydney.

Not a twin story, but you're correct about the size difference getting smaller by the time they're 5. My son was 9 lbs. 6 oz., while the child of some friends of ours, who was born the next day, was only 22 oz. All the old baby pictures we had of the two looked just like the picture posted above.
Turned out, my son has become a very smallish kid (he's 12 but looks 10) while the girl inherited her parents' size (both over 6') and is a very tall girl.
Maybe the mom can claim the bigger twin is from her first husband?
During my wifes pregnancy with our twin daughters there was concern due to one of the placentas overlapping the other. This could have led to a detached placenta, malnourishment for one of the girls, or perhaps even a complete miscarriage. The doctors told us we could have had a situation like this one where one of our children might thrive at the expense of the other. Those could be my children in that picture had our fortunes been different.
So excuse me, but theres nothing funny here. My heart goes out to this family and these children. Until any of you smart-asses has walked a mile in the shoes of these parents or children, just keep your juvenile jokes to yourself.
I’m sorry that your wife had such a difficulty during her pregnancy, but from what I can deduce is that everything turned out alright and Praise GOD for that; however, I will take note with you on the other matter. Not everyone deals with life’s challenges with grief and anxiety, especially when one can see the sunlight beginning to shine through the storm. As in this case, which alludes the fact taht both baby’s are doing well despite their size differential. Thus we have twins who will probably have this size variance throughout their lives and since they are apparently doing well, hence the MEGAPERSON joke, which is my way of expressing the belief that they will go onto live healthy, productive lives despite what challenges life may/will bring. I can understand your offense, but you’re NOT a victim so stop acting like one. You’ve faced the challenge, by GOD’s grace you made it through, pray that this family does, and stop pitying yourself over what could’ve been for you and cursing those who don’t deal with like you do. You yourself have NO IDEA what shoes I have walked in.
There was a fraternal twin pair next door. One was a giant, the other was somewhat small. The small one got all the intelligence, the big one was dufus from birth. Their weight ratio was 2:1 all along.
