My wife was horrifed at what Cho had done. Her first comment was "how awful! He's a Evil @#$%!"
Her second comment was. "What if they get payback against Korean People?" I'm glad she doesn't frequently read Patrick J. Buchanan.

Buchanan is a disgrace. I was unaware he had made these comments. The shootings had little to with race. This kid was a loon and had deep issues. That his parents were Korean is moot.

Being in a military town, we have a larger than normal Asian population. I have not heard any negatives about the VT massacre directed at Asians or Koreans in particular. People know he was a “mental case” and accept it as such. He could have been caucasian or black and still have done the same thing. The race of this madman doesn’t seem to even enter the argument.................

Everything with PJB has to do with race. He's a despicable man. At least Senator Byrd admits to his KKK membership.

That was a shameful article by Pat. I have always stood up for him, but to label a whole community based on one psychopath is disgusting.
No wonder Pat has talked himself into oblivion.

Foreign whack jobs always got in.
Giuseppe Zangara took a pot shot at FDR and ended up greasing the Mayor of Chicago, one Anton J. Cermak.
In Zangara’s own words: I dont like no peoples.
Ol Giusep was an immigrant. Soooo, all those named Giusep gotta go!

And what hated truth could possibly have come from Buchanan’s bigoted rant against Koreans. Do you also believe Buchanan told the truth when he said Senator Gramm was un-American because he married a woman from Korea. Buchanan has a history of this sort of hateful behavior.

And homegrown Americans as white or even more pale than I am, go nuts and join The Branch Davidians or blow up government buildings in Oklahoma City. I wonder how PJB would reconcile that piece of data to what he wrote this morning.

With all due respect, I think Buchanan is not a racist.
He is simply asserting the fact that we have an overly liberal immigration policy, one which now encourages people to come here from all over the world, in tremendous, overwhelming numbers, and live in communities that not only are indifferent to American culture, but oftentimes, as in the case of many from the middle east (have you heard about these people?), are outright hostile to American culture.
Equating this with bigotry is a cheap shot that poisons the debate about our immigration policy.
Remember, the purpose of the United States, as recounted in the Preamble, is to "secure for ourselves and our posterity the blessings of freedom..."
It is not to assimilate every human being in the world who no longer wishes to live in his native land.
Flame away folks.

I’m sure if this article becomes a big deal, he’ll be called “Republican Strategist” or “Conservative Commentator” Pat Buchannan.

He could very easily have asserted that fact without bringing Cho into the discussion. I can also assert that American still has a problem with indigenous racists without mentioning the name of that psycho who read The Turner Diaries and then blew up a building in OK City.

Buchanan has been left behind by the reality of the World. Unless we do away with our modern transportation systems and economy, Pat is doomed and that is good IMO. He conveniently ignores the fact that a “half” Korean, an Indian, a Chinese, a Lebanese, and an Israeli were among the victims of Cho. The two proved or likely heroes were an Israeli professor and an African American.

Well, Whoa now, I don’t think the Davidians were criminals. A little nutty, yes. But this is America. Nuts and fruits are allowed. The Buffoon In Chief thought he could get some good mileage of it, but when it went south on him, he blamed Burnemout Reno.
Now then, Timmy McVeigh, you might be on thin ice there too. I’m convinced that was a hit with a strong middle east connection. John Doe 2. Too many pointers in that direction and the Buffoon In Chief’s total allergy about having to confront things of that nature.
But on the other hand, I agree with you!
