Speaking as a veteran ground surfer, (SoCal for the last 40 years) a 4.7 quake in England left a lot of people a few steps short of the loo.

My first thought that came to mind was a nuclear device being detonated in the chunnel. And I have absolutely no doubt this is probably the exact thing AQ wants to do.

Barely made the USGS world earthquake map. Still, a volcano could be emerging on the Thames—early sign. Probably isostatic rebound from the Ice Age.
