Today the President and Mrs. Bush Met with the 2007 National and State Teachers of the Year at the White House.
The President and the First Lady also met with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and his wife Akie Abe
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice is in Oslo to attend a NATO's foreign ministers meeting.

His walking is improving but hampered by the pains in the head.
One step in the right direction tonight I assisted him to undress and get into bed without the nurses help so this gave him quite a bit of confidence regarding the eventual discharge and coming home.
I am waiting for my friend to collect me and will spend the evening/night there so will not be around tonight. Thanks once again for all of your love and support Eleanor
