“junior” or some times “junior junior” as my cousin was the senior of “juniors” in the hierarchy of juniors in my family
LOL - I can relate!
That’s funny your doctor picked out Zelma-last letter.I had a child at 41:)Thanks stayathomemom.
Hey Little Red,Thanks Melinda in TN.
The "Dodge Custom 880" is too much of a mouthful so we just call it the Enterprise. It's old and white and just about as big. The thing is a monster.
The way I came by my nickname is described in my profile. By the way Babe Ruth was probably the greatest natural athlete who ever lived, For a man as large and unathletically looking as he was, a man known to drink heavily and not pay attention to his health to establish so many records is amazing.
As for the greatest baseball player it must be between Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig , Pete Rose or Cal Ripken.
I wish I could say I would remember(((Hugs)))Just check the titles of the canteen threads .Not for at least 3 weeks.
When our first Grand Daughter was born, I wanted to be called Grand Mommie.
I “Grand Mommied this and Grand Mommied that.....Grand Mommie, Grand Mommie, Grand Mommie.”
Finally, one day she looked at me and said, plain as day...Mimo, Mimo? And I answered....
So now, that’s who I am to almost everyone we know.
Pronounced me-mo.
Heehee well I guess so Big Jim:)Thanks.
I guess I was always Teezed because of my looks and bod.
At least here in Connecticut, a Fireman makes quite an amount less than we could live on. (How sad is that?)
27 years of this makes it difficult to even consider changing my profession, It's a thankless job but one that needs to be done. Since I can be quite a prick I suppose it's one I was cutout for it. (We can all be that way when we need too)
Bet it was because of the TV star,Thanks K(C)ookie.

Heehhee,You know I will remember that Junior Junior:)
By the way, for those not familiar with Mississippi, if you shouted "Hey, Bubba" in a crowded room, half the men would look up and say "HUH?" The other half would look up if you said "Hey, Junior". : )
Cool,I love it.Does it still run.
When I was 17, my social circle in Massachusetts used the word "Kid" like people use "Dude" or "Man", so I did as well.
My shipmates were amused as hell by this so they started calling me "The Kid".
The term was used so much that I labeled my laundry as "Kid". I even got my name on an F/A 18 Hornet as I was a Plane Captain during the first Gulf War. It had the CO's name and call sign. Underneath it had my name and MY call sign... "Kid", LOL!
No one believed me so I have a picture taken with me right next to the bird giving the camera the finger and pointing to my sign. I would scan it for you all but it is framed right now and not easy to get at.
Geez, I almost forgot about that story.Happy memories.

Every time I think of Mississippi, I always end up singing Uneasy Rider............who owns this car with the peace sign, the mag wheels, and four on the floor....
