Well, Reagan showed the Rockefeller Republicans how to win.
They apparently no longer wish to adhere to Reagan’s formula and would rather lose on their own terms than win on Reagan’s.
The Rockefeller Republicans don’t care about winning because they are happy with the Democrats.
