I’m not denying it may be a troll, I just think the post itself isn’t very trollish, IMO.
OK, let me break this down for you.

2. No idea how to construct a thread.
3. Posted in News/Activism to gain maximum exposure.
4. First post. Ever. No follow-up.
5. The first sentence in the post. “I read an article in a magazine some 15 years ago ABOUT THE FACT that every US citizen should carry a firearm.”
About WHAT fact?
