The Board of Supervisors first declared San Francisco a sanctuary city in 1989.

Each "yea" voter should be thrown behind bars.

The government should send in the national guard in order to enforce the law. Its no different from Bull Conner or George Wallace.

SF employees will be in their underground sex dungeons and too busy to be involved with immigration raids... (let the reader understand).

Good. I’m sure its a pain for ICE to co-ordinate with SFPD anyway.

Cut off any/all federal funding if they won’t uphold the laws of the US.

Yeah, they’ve been immensely helpful thus far..... I’m sure this is going to just break the backs of the Federal agencies who carry out these raids anyways.

Well, if it is the decision of San Francisco not to enforce federal law in that City, there is a logical response. Federal dollars should not be spent in that City. No highway funds, no welfare funds, no educational grants, no nothing.

They want to go it alone, they can do that. Until there is a loud sucking sound in wallets throughout the City, and the remaining sane residents -- assuming there are any -- dump Mayor Newsome unceremoniously into the Bay. There IS an election going on in that City, even as we speak.

The Feds withhold payments to states to make them comply, I think the same should be done here.

Dear Gavin:

Since you don’t recognize the laws of the federal government, good luck with that next earthquake.

Sincerely,

Claim eminent domain by the federal government to make the entire city a national monument. Throw out the city government and install federal caretakers. To make it more pointed, do it by executive order.

That’s okay with us. The Federal government should then cut off all federal assistance to the city of San Franscico. Refuse to cooperate in any federally related local disturbances related to the city.
