Man not guilty in 'dungeon' rapes

DARLINGTON, S.C. - A jury has found a convicted sex offender accused of raping two teen girls in an underground bunker not guilty of kidnapping, sex crimes and assault with intent to kill.

Kenneth Glenn Hinson wiped his eyes and mouth and appeared to cry after the jury read its verdict, which followed about four hours of deliberations over two days.

If convicted, Hinson had faced a mandatory life sentence without parole under the state's two-strikes law because he was convicted of raping a 12-year-old girl in 1991.

Hmmm. Now it begins to make a bit more sense. We are, after all, supposed to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Not implying that this individual is a sterling example whom we should attempt to emulate, but if the guy did not do it, he should not be forced to suffer for it.

The girls were 17 at the time of the “offense”. Tell me how a man takes not 1 but 2— 17 yr old teens out of their beds during the night.

Apparently, a court of law found it to be credible enough. And your opinion should override the evidence provided... why? Did you sit in on the proceedings and possess evidence that no one else did or has?
