I really and truly do not understand. Do you really think I would go for a gay/abortion/anti-gun liberal activist as the GOP nominee for president without putting up one hell of a fight?

I expected you to fight.... but I thought you'd fight better. Your forum isn't behaving like a serious political force right now... it's ranting like a bunch of guys at a bar who've had a few too many.

There's a fine line between idealism that inspires a political following, and a shrill hysteria that makes people want to take a few steps back.

Sell your point of view. Be better than the alternative, not meaner. I honestly don't think angry is going to sway a single voter.

That's all... I'm actually saying this because I really do hope a Republican president is elected next term. I do not want to nullify every one of our losses in the WOT by electing someone to office who does not even value American victory over terrorism. And I don't want to tick you off or have to leave this forum, it would truly break my heart. I meant it when I said my best friends are here. The ones who flew out from all over the country to be at my wedding, and those who followed along on this forum from home. There's real good people here. I just had a knot in my stomach reading this thread where people are salivating at the chance to drive yet more people away... that just doesn't make any sense to me.

Advocating for a Presidential candidate is asking the voters to put him, and by extension you, in charge of the country.

The form of advocacy which you are criticizing cannot and will not lead to victory.

That's all there is to it.

Why don't you go back to your moderator job at WA. That's one boring site.

The problem is, Rudy is totally and completely unacceptable. It’s not just one conservative against another, he’s a far left liberal activist against our core conservative values. After the pro-life, pro family GWB, Giuliani is a shock to our senses. In regards to our core values, he’s the exact same animal as Hillary only he wears a dress. It’s a deep stinging insult that he would be considered at all as presidential material for the GOP.

There’s no other way I can say it. Our unalienable rights to life and Liberty are not negotiable and not up for compromise or debate.

And your side should not be so quick to claim purity and innocence, by the way. I see some of you fighting like howling banshees every day on FR. And it’s not new. Some of the dearly departed have fought like howling banshees since arriving on FR many years ago.

Brawling on FR? I’m shocked. Shocked I tell you.
