To: dukakis kerry the dream team

I don’t think we can chase pro-choice people out of the party and still win elections. I also think that, if they can debate in a civilized way, it is helpful to have people around even if they would debate the cause of abortion. We can hone our skills.

I would expect that if abortion is a major cause for someone, they would not be welcome here. JR isn’t going to want multiple threads supporting abortion.

I think there’s a difference between being the “contrary voice” in the comments, and being a major agitator posting threads and vanities for a cause that the owner and most of us here would find repulsive;

Amazing thread, Charles. I went to work, hadn’t seen it since last night, and here it is, heading for ten grand.

There are a lot of people like me who are pro life, that can put up with the pro-choicers, just not their rhetoric and hypocrisy. A lot of liberals support abortion and oppose the death penalty for vicious criminals. That’s the kind of stuff we can’t stomach. Somebody who is with us accepting an issue or two is different from people who oppose us on virtually any subject but the WOT.
