To think that some here would actually vote for Hillary over a Republican is mind boggling.

Just wanted to remind everybody, now that Katie is gone, that I asked about 2500 comments ago for the name of a person who actually said seriously that they would vote for Hillary.

No names were given, just people who would stay home, people who would support her but not vote for her, people who would want her elected but couldn't bring themselves to vote for her.

You'd think that hearing so many strong conservatives so torn over what to do regarding Hillary would make Rudy supporters at least tread more lightly, or try to figure out how to make him more acceptable.

Instead, they call us names, post over and over with duplicate threads whenever they find some liberal media with nice things to say about Rudy, laugh at us for being stupid and not seeing the "big picture", and say we will be responsible not just for Hillary winning, but also for the blood of the murdered babies, if we don't vote for their pro-abortion candidate instead of a good pro-life leader.

I really got my mind shaped these past two days, as I've been arguing to keep these people on forum, while they have gotten increasingly belligerant. I posted, no I BEGGED every one of them to tell me one thing Rudy did to be strong on the war on terror, to be strong on national security. When Peach said that if we didn't vote for Rudy we'd have Wal Marts and Truck Bombs, I asked her what Rudy's position was on WalMart.

I posted WHY I thought Rudy was bad for our party, and bad for the country, without calling him names, and without calling his supporters names. I took GRIEF for complaining about other people's name-calling. But many of the rudy supporters returned not answers about their candidate, or reasoned arguments refuting my opinions, but personal invective, snide statements, and "facts" that proved the opposite of what they said was the truth.

I trust that those who remain are the saner of the gang. There is NO reason we cannot have civil conversations. I no longer really care if anybody who was banned is let back. They weren't very nice, and I followed them to "their" site and got a rude awakening, like finding that PhiKapMom really DOES appear to be a Rudy campaign operative after all, and that they ARE plotting to attack conservatives (PKM is planning an assault on the character of some poor local Oklahoma republican committeeperson because he supports ROmney instead of Rudy. I serve on a committee, and it's thankless work that doesn't deserve some agitator calling you unethical like she is doing to smear him).

FYI Charles, lil Katie has left the building, and is living happily across the way at that RINO website where she opened up an account three days ago, which suggests that her little temper tantrum was completely scripted and premeditated and phony as a three dollar bill.

Good riddance to bad rubbish.

How are you doin’? Ready for another night o’ rock n’ roll?

:)

Hmmmm. I thought there were some ringers here, but kind of expected most candidates to try that in a less obvious way. If you hve something actual, I think that Mr. Robinson would like to see it.

Your unfailingly calm, courteous and dignified efforts to elucidate actual relevant information and keep the discussion focused on the issues is much appreciated.

I’ll have you know that PhiKapMom is not the only freeper (or should I say ex-freeper) over on that “site”. There are active freepers who have posted on this very thread within the last hour who are also members of that “site”. I’m not saying it’s wrong, but I am concerned about what these freepers motives are coming here making snide remarks and then going back to their little “hiding place”. Just be aware that there are other freepers who might be trying to create problems here. I will freepmail you the name of the forum and the names of those who are posting at both places if you request it from me by freepmail. I will not post any information on this thread.

I’ve already given you two and the name of someone else who said he’d cut a check to Hillary! if Rudy were the nominee. You’ve spun those to try to claim that the posters wouldn’t vote for Hillary!, even when they said they would under some circumstances. There are many more posters who have said they would vote for Hillary!, sometimes in response to a McCain candidacy, but also in response to Rudy as well (direct quotes of posts, but I've added the bold):

To: Names Ash Housewares
I would vote for Hillary, before McCain.

This “man” twists faster than a blade in a home fan.

This is such a great quote from Liberty2004 yesterday, with which I totally agree, I’m re-posting it:

McCain needs to take a dirt nap. I am so livid at McCain that, at this moment, I would be tempted to vote for Hillary before voting for this vile traitor. These vile humans are so obsessed with the Presidency that they would sell their soul to SATAN to gain power. If SATAN said to McCain that the price of being President would be that he (McCain) would set in motions events that would destroy this Country and our way of life, McCain would not hesitate for one second to take that deal. ... God help this Republic.

-—”Rudy is a liberal? Get a grip people - the man is a LEADER.”

You’re just hearing from the types who think he wears a dress every day, and are ticked that banning abortion isn’t a top issue for him.”-—

Actually, no.

Many of us are ticked that abortion has always been such a HUGE issue for Rudy. The mass expansion of abortions in NY City, public funding of abortions, excessive protection of abortion clinics from protests, expansion of underage and late-term abortions that happened under his leadership is something he has touted proudly many times. The man ran repeatedly as an unconditionally Pro-Choice candidate.

That, along with his unapologetic belief that gay marriage is a basic human right, is troubling to say the least.

Oh how I wish he were simply a social/moral/cultural Libertarian as you’d like to pretend. But he’s not. he’s a Pro-abort, Pro-Gay rights ACTIVIST, and has a rock-solid record to prove it.

Just go and see the Planned Parenthood clinics on every street corner in NY.

You Rudy-ophiles are forewarned. A good third or more of your own side would rather see the party go down in flames than nominate Rudy. Don’t come trying to shame or scare us if you succeed and you suddenly can’t understand why everybody isn’t on board with the 2008 ticket.

I’ll stay up day and night fighting for anyone - even John McLame, before I’d help Rudy.

Only Rudy-ophiles could get me to vote for Hillary Clinton to save the Conservative movement.

You guys need to learn what a Conservative is - it’s a social/cultural/moral label. Fighting crime and cutting taxes are basic Republicanism, not Conservatism.

Nominate Rudy at your own risk. Many like myself would work day and night against his election.

The ironic thing is that some people like myself may wind-up having to support McCain to avoid nominating Rudy. You Rudy-ophiles might get stuck with your own demands to “suck it up and vote GOP” being used against you.

I won’t vote Rudy, period. Unless, of course, he has a magic Conversion of epic proportions.

You’re amply forewarned, Rudy-ophiles.

He is also the only stable and sane candidate.

I grant you McCain had a decent conservative voting record.

Stable and sane is a whole different issue.

I would actually vote for Hillary before McCain.

At least with the Hilderbeast, you know what you are dealing with, she will stab you in the front, then rip you heart out.

McCain will stab you in the back, then rip you guts out.

I'm breaking my silence to point out that you're flat out wrong on just about everything you posted here, "Charles." It isn't the Rudy supporters who are belligerent, rather it's his detractors. And the "other site" you supposedly followed us to is not a place where folks are "plotting" against "real conservatives. " You're exhibiting the kind of paranoia or other mental illness that seems to be affecting most on FR these days. To understand the attitudes and behavior of most of the remnant on FR these days, one needs only to read the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, 4th ed.

You've gotten what you want -- you've all driven the pragmatic conservatives from FR. Why don't you stop obsessing about where they've all gone and what they're all doing, and enjoy your barren political existence.
