A woman who was a real Christian wouldn't abort murder her own child.

Look, you may not believe this, but I agree with you. I just take a practical view of reality, which is when push comes to shove, the S. Dakota results will be repeated in every state in the Union, including the South.

You're taking a much too pessimistic view of the level of support for abortion in this country. The South Dakota referendum, while disappointing, has to be viewed in context.

Planned Parenthood and other pro-abortion groups flooded cash and volunteers into the state to defeat the referendum. They saw it as a must win to make sure the blood money keeps flowing. Meanwhile, many pro-life groups were dubious about the efficacy of the ban with the current makeup of the Supreme Court and thought the move was premature and potentially detrimental to the overall goal of eliminating Roe.

At the end of the day, the vast majority of Americans support severely restricting access to abortion.

Look, you may not believe this, but I agree with you.

You're right that I don't believe you. It's comments like these that make it impossible:

The reason the Republican party is NOT the Conservative party, nor holds many conservative ideals, is that approximately 50% of registered Republicans are female. When it comes to women, no matter how pro-life they are in philosophy, when push comes to shove, they are all pro-choice.

It's no surprise some of the biggest Rudy supporters at FR (alive & banned) are women. The basic reality is that women are preventing the R party from moving anymore rightward.

This one’s my favorite. I hear so often that Christians and other religious women never abort. After all, a woman who believes in God could never end her pregnancy. The numbers beg to differ:
Forty-three percent of women obtaining abortions identify themselves as Protestant, and 27% as Catholic.
That’s right; Christians account for a full 70% of all abortions obtained in the United States.

Your comments have nothing to do with whether or not SD results will be repeated elsewhere in the country.

Your comments were blanket statements about women that are certainly untrue. And gloating that 70% of the women obtaining abortions are *Christian* doesn't help your credibility.
