ryone has their pet projects, his is Keyes. I find that harmless. I think he has been under constant attack and handled him or herself pretty good.

I read a book as a kid about a pet owl. The owl did all kinds of funny stuff, such as flying into the house carrying a freshly-killed skunk.

But one scene sticks in my head. The boy was out crow hunting with his dad. The crows were staying out of range, and then suddenly the owl hopped up onto a fence post next to them. The crows lost their minds and came after the owl time after time even though they were getting blown out of the sky.

Keyes and EV seemed to have that impact on many of the recently departed. It really was bizzare. They loved to get after Keyes being some kind of grifter, even as they continually apologized for some of the greatest grifters in recent history, namely the porcine GOP leadership who raised spending at rates that would have made a Democrat blush 30 years ago.

At the end of the day, most of those who are gone approached Bush from the left of the GOP, not the right. And they had tried to drag FR leftward for the last seven years and finally went too far in trying to push Rudy on FR while attacking centrists such as Fred.

I agree, nice analogy in that story.

I don’t get your story— is EV the owl, and Keyes the skunk? Are you the boy hunter?

Really good story and does remind me of how these attack EV.

What was the name of that story, I'd like to get it for my grandchildren.
