All this work to take down Rudy McRomney will in the end, in all likelihood, serve little but to promote the Republican status quo, and elect a moderate from TN. Joy...

You know EV, I kinda like Fred Thompson, not as much as my own candidate Duncan Hunter, but every time I hear Thompson, or see him, I can't help but feel like I'm looking at a Southern-fried latter day version of Gerald Ford, you know what I mean?

His record of “bipartisanship” is clear. But, at this point, I have little hope that conservative folks care. And, for awhile now, I’ve been expecting the next stage here to be FR becoming “FredRepublic,” and, the way things stand, I seriously doubt I’ll be disappointed.

That's so . . . . deep.
