FR is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-liberty, pro-national-security, pro-decency, pro-character in presidential candidates, pro-constitution, pro-rule of law, pro-capitalism, pro-freedom, etc.

Rudy Giulani is disqualified and rejected out of hand as a potential acceptable nominee because his often stated and demonstrated support for abortion and the gay agenda shows his total disregard, disrespect and utter contempt for God, Christianity, conservatives, the pro-life, pro-family conservative movements, conservatism in general, family values, and our traditional American heritage. His tortured, twisted liberal-based logic to try to justify his support for Roe vs Wade, abortion rights, taxpayer funded abortion, extra-constitutional gay rights, etc, demonstrates his total disregard and utter contempt for the constitution, strict constructionism and original intent.

His support for and active participation in NARAL, Planned Parenthood, and other radical socialist abortionist, feminist, homosexualist, gay, lesbian, transsexual, transgender rights activist and lobby groups is a slap in the face to the conservative movement and again shows his disregard, disrespect and utter contempt for Christianity, conservatives and conservatism in general, decency, family values, our American heritage, even a disregard for capitalism and freedom itself.

Why do I say a disregard for capitalism and freedom? Because the groups and causes he associates with, allies himself with, supports, advocates and lobbies for are all leftist, socialist supported and socialist funded groups and causes. Who backs and funds these groups? People like George Soros, Ted Turner, and the dregs of the democrat, liberal and socialist caucuses of our congress and the world’s leftist socialism movements in general. Abortion rights/gay rights are socialist causes. As leftist/socialist causes, they’re also supported by and allied with the international antiwar groups. They march in solidarity with International Answer and the World Workers Party. When you see pictures and videos of a smiling and giggling Rudy Giuliani leading Gay Rights parades down 5th Avenue, just remember he’s marching arm in arm with socialists, antiwar activists, anarchists, and the dregs of the world’s leftist/socialist/communist movements. He supports and lobbies for and helps fund same. It’s totally unreasonable to ask any conservative who loves God, America, family, decency, liberty and freedom to support such a disgrace of a leftist/socialist and national security risk for president.

All of the above plus more can be applied and said about his disregard, disrespect and utter contempt for America, the Constitution, conservatives, the rule of law, capitalism and liberty when it comes to gun control and his support and socialist tendencies for illegal aliens and sanctuary cities, etc.

Anyone who can’t see why FR outright rejects this man and doesn’t want to see his supporters pushing pro-Rudy propaganda while attacking, smearing, sliming, running down and disparaging conservatism and conservative candidates, the pro-life, pro-family and pro-gun movements and our conservative posters is blind to what FR and conservatism is all about.

FR supports the pro family pro constitution conservative wing of the GOP. Rudy supporters, for the most part, represent the views of the liberal RINO wing and reflect the views of leftist world socialism.

One FR poster on the other side summed it up quite nicely when she declared, “Conservatives have held their foot on the neck of the GOP for too long. The new GOP will be more moderate. We’ll govern from the center. Abortion and guns will never again be important causes for the GOP.”

I reject that declaration and reject anyone who supports it.

“I reject that declaration and reject anyone who supports it.”

Does that mean people will be banned for criticizing the attitudes of anti-Rudy conservatives? Am I reading too much into this?

That all seems very easy to understand, and reasonable.

Do you think it’s possible to be a conservative and an atheist?

Jim. I'm just thinking that it's a bit premature given we haven't had a single Republican candidate debate yet. Perhaps you've fully assessed all the candidates and have selected one, but I haven't.

Newt is my favorite, but I'm not sure he'll run. Thompson looks like he's running, but maybe not.

Rudy is the GOP frontrunner, and I'd like to know why. Sure, I know the general reasons about "America's Mayor", blah blah blah, but I don't see the point of utterly dismissing him here and chilling the debate. For Pete's sake, it's not an emergency. Nobody is even voting this year.

We've never been unable to collectively, as a forum, get to the truth about anything or anyone. We shine the light on everyone, hopefully in a civil manner, and all make more informed decisions as a result. A few of my friend are no longer here, primarily because they got on the wrong side of what could have been a healthy deabte.

Maybe they were wrong. Maybe they didn't handle it well. But maybe they could have been persuaded by the collective intelligence this forum has always demonstrated in the past.

The glee in stifling dissent and the herding of long time members to the bugzapper is unprecedented at FR.

I pray that this forum calms down and that sanity returns. No votes will be cast for a very long time. That gives us plenty of time to make a case for or against any candidate.

I am committed to making this forum survive and flourish. I don't think that job got any easier in the past couple of weeks. It's been ugly, and it didn't need to happen in April 2007.
