“My definition of socialism is suicide.” - Not every suicide is a socialist, although some are; and what to do about such socialists as kim, fidel, hillary and the rest? It would be great for the mankind were they to off themselves, but they do not. Thus your definition is erroneous. Even if you expand it into “mass suicide”, it would not be able to stand. Look at all the collectivist places - despite mass murders and general brutality, they survive.

Had a few already have you? I maintain, GSlob, that socialism will be suicide for our Republic, ie: socialism is suicide.

I admit your post makes me laugh.
(and not because you are wrong or I am being sarcastic)

The problem with social liberalism is that it leads logically to fiscal liberalism (or communism if you prefer)an authoritarianism.

For example, government should not be involved in the contract of labor between employer and employee. This should mean that a company may choose to cover employees and their spouses in a man-woman relationship in a health care plan. This same company may not wish to cover a gay domestic partnership citing increased occurrence health problems among the gay population. In Rudy’s past positions, the government must intervene and force the company to offer the coverage, to “protect” the equality of gays.

We also have audio of Rudy saying that the government has an “obligation” to pay for poor women’s abortions that are a “constitutional right”. That is good evidence of a collectivist streak, as well as something that should be anathema to any stripe conservative.
