You’re pretty vague. What are you accusing me of? Can you link me to a post that shows I’m guilty of whatever it is you think I did?

Conservatives are not broken glass Republicans. On the contrary we believe in conservatism in all its facits, foreign affairs, economic, fiscal, cultural, etc. If you read the 2006 Republican platform you will see what I mean.
As far as the “fight” is occuring here it is a competition of conservative ideas with liberal ideals. To be sure the arguments are heated, as they are in many political debates. If you are not comfortable with the tone of this debate you are free to go elsewhere where you might be more comfortable. Its a free country, and at least for now, in an open Internet, your choice is as good as mine.

What has happened is that a few freepers decided they didn't need to abide by JimRob's rules in his own house. And were shown the door after multiple warnings.
Many Rudy boosters are still here. However, Rudy boosters who used FR to either attack conservative candidates or conservative principles are not. It's a big, bad internet, and they can (and have) gone somewhere to trash the likes of Fred and Reagan to their little heart's content.

Too many very good people have been banned because they took issue, most in a respectful way, with the new order here on FR. An unfortunately I'm not liking what I'm seeing with them. No more room for respectful dissent here. If you do, you're gone. 50 (+ or - a few) bannings of many of those who I've grown to respect with the thoughtfulness of their posts and support of conservatives. We're not all of one mind though we agree on most things here. And to be accused of being a troll or worse for posting a dissenting opinion is not what I expected FR to become. It's too bad that intolerance has become the norm here.
