As a member of Iowa’s Republican State Central Committee, I watched Mr. Forbes up close and personal from the first days he began to run for president in ‘96. He started on the left in that election cycle, though it was carefully couched in the best Madison-Avenue-bought verbiage money could buy. After losing that year, he decided he needed to appeal to Christian conservatives to succeed. So, he morphed into something completely different leading into 2000. Only problem is, like several of these shapeshifters this year, he could just never get it all the way right. He was a phony then, and he’s a phony now. His support for Rooty is just the latest confirmation of my opinion.
Like Alan “The Huckster” Keyes the only phony that I voted for...
It's not unusual for politicians to change their minds on various issues. After all, it was Keyes who first thought the issue of slave reparations was an outrage then ended up supporting it himself.
Does he still insist we owe slave reparations?
That's quite an increase from the previous week, when you only posted once.
It's hard to imagine how you could hold down a full-time job and also post at that rate. Heck, if each post represents just 3 minutes at FR, that's more than 40 hours worth since last Sunday.
Unless, of course, this is your full-time job.
