Right, so Ann Richards? Give this crap a rest.
Most people here, myself included think that the stars and bars is ok to fly regardless of the fact I’m a ‘damn yankee’. But for silly pride to cause you to insult those of us in the northern states while you try to deny your own slew of liberal politicians is just plain silly.
to BE a DAMNyankee you MUST:
1. BE one of the LOUD-mouthed,10-15% of northerners, who are truly south-HATERS,
2. BELIEVE that southerners & the south are INFERIOR to the north & northerners,
3. BELIEVE southern institutions are NATURALLY inferior to similar things/places "up there",
4.BE an UNthinking, sanctimonious BIGOT &
5. BE unwilling to learn the truth about the south & southerners.
as my grandfather used to say: "a DAMNyankee is a BIGOT & if they were NOT prejudiced against the southland, they would be some other sort of empty-headed BIGOT".
IF you would prefer NOT to be called a DAMNyankee, then don't think/act like one.
