Reid Must Resign
Attacking Alberto Gonzales is like clubbing a baby seal. He's weak. He was always weak. He was weak when he served as White House counsel. He was weak when he was confirmed by the Senate for attorney general. And he was weak during testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee yesterday. Now, before there was Gonzales, there was John Ashcroft. He was always strong. He was strong when he served in the Senate. He was strong when he was confirmed by the Senate for attorney general. And he was strong when he testified before the 9/11 Commission. They said he had to go because he was strong.
Everyone knows what's going on here. The Democrats, who started this, want Gonzales's head on a stake as another supposed example of administration of corruption. They want the public to believe that the firing of these eight U.S. attorneys is the equivalent of Watergate. These are the same Democrats who defended Janet Reno to the end despite real malfeasance, including the Elian Gonzales disaster, the WACO massacre, and the deadly expansion of the legal wall between the CIA and FBI. In comparison, Gonzales is Oliver Wendell Holmes. But Republicans have had enough of him. They see him as incapable of defending himself, let alone advancing a conservative agenda. And they hope to replace him with someone more to their liking, which will never happen given this Senate. In the big scheme, none of this matters, and the public could care less. The presidents rating arent affected by this. This is an inside-the-beltway manufactured scandal.
(By the way, I say this as someone who has never been impressed with Gonzales, Harriet Miers, and so many of the people the president holds close.)

Just as the Rats did with Delay and Lott, etc., the Republicans in the House and Senate should come out strong and demand Reid’s resignation.

Mark Levin is oh so right to ask how many will join him. Sadly, he probably already knows the paltry number.
Our elected Republicans are wimps, cowards. Shame on them all for never speaking up when we know they should. Shame on them all!
I agree with you! And they should ask for the resignation or hearings AND resignation of Fienstien and Pelosi too!!!
“Gonzales submits his resignation and the President nominates Ann Coulter as the new AG. It would be worth it for the confirmation hearings - Chuck Schumers head would explode!”
I said that to hubby last night, he laughed thinking of all the heads exploding on the treason side!!
Thanks for the ping FF
Mark is the best in exposing the double standard and the total anti American agenda of the Democrats.
If there was one Dem with an ounce of courage they would
blast what Harry ass Reid said. This poor excuse for a human has to go.
Sen. Harry Reid is such a weak dick and the biggest pussy I have ever seen in my life. He is living proof that dems are weak, weak, weak on national security and national defense. In fact, he is a waste of human skin, and the fact that he contributes to global warming due to the CO2 he emits from his pie hole are grounds enough to ship him to some deserted island to await the sea level to rise.
Did I mention he was pro-abortion...</sarcasm>
I will tell you how bad it is.
Right now Harry Reid and Bill Nelson are up on the Senate floor crying about how Pres. Bush is a divider, not a uniter...and how he “calls people names”...if he doesn’t like what they say.
In the speech today about Iraq...Pres. Bush did NOT reference Reid or the Dems...according to the report by Mike Emmanuel on FOX..even though FOX chose not to show all of the speech.
BUT, has ANY of our GOP Senators gotten on the floor of the Senate to denounce what Harry Reid said? NO>...but, they could sit in front of international cameras yesterday, bashing Gonzo...telling him to resign.!!!
A POX on all of them.
IF the GOP does say something on the Senate floor before it is closed for the week, I will report it here. If not...just assume that they are MORE interested in smearing Pres. Bush’s cabinet, than countering the smears against our TROOPS, Gen. Petraeus and our POTUS.
I guess treason in time of war isn’t a crime for a RAT.
If they keep down this road, the GOP won't know what know what hit them when they lose a few more seats in the next election.
That’s what I thought, but I trust you!
thanks so much for the Cspan update on what the monkey men are doing today. It reminds me how democrats accused Bush of calling them ‘unpatriotic’ because they didn’t support the war. Nevermind “unpatriotic” was never used by Bush or any elected republican! Democrats made the false accusation so often, and it went unchallenged, it is now accepted as truth.
GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrr
Wow, you’re good! lol
Thanks for those links... I will email singly when I get home.
McConnell is too strong to let himself be taken down.
PS.. Ive been in love with Mark Levin for years, but dont tell holdonnow. His wife is one lucky woman!!
