In the past week, Don Imus was fired, all charges against the Duke University lacrosse players were dropped, and almost everyone has offered a sermon about the racial and class issues involved in both cases. But we need look only to the Ancient Greeks for the best insight.
VDH: Nemesis As Comeuppance Ping!
I’ll feel better when it is finally apparent that something is going to be done to Nifong, Mangum, and the lying 88.
Imus wouldn’t dare call Don Ho’s wife and give his concodlences.
I wouldn't bet on Mangum and the lying 88. The former seems to be a certifiable loon that consistently confabulates different stories. Nothing can happen to the lying 88 while there is political correctness and jury nullification.
If anyone ought to be resigning it ought to be Brian Williams of NBC, and whomever made the decision to go for ratings first and aired that damned demented video by Cho.
So Nemesis is still asleep. But we knew that.
Although taking Nifong down should send an appropriate chill down the spines of the Fitzgeralds of the world. I hope.
I disagree. I think the left should embrace the nut job, Cho Seung-Hui, as their hero. The left have been saying the same stuff as his incoherent rant for decades.
Same too at Virginia Tech. The school administration felt ‘empowered’ to strip naked the students. The anointed, with supposedly superior knowledge, the administrators. Too bad Chu didn’t go to the administrators.

Let me know if you want in or out.
