Just heard anchorette report this on pMSNBC
I think this was a huge advertising stunt to get people to check out his ‘Ishmael philosphy’. It worked - I checked it out! (But I don’t buy into any of it!)
The reviews for the original Ishmael book are quite revealing! Here’s one:
“Who would have guessed that a gorilla named Ishmael would teach me more than most of my college professors! After participating in a global warming action day yesterday, I came home and thought about Ishmael and what he can teach us about living in harmony with our home planet and its inhabitants. Mother Culture has led us down a dead-end path. Ishmael helps us challenge Mother Culture and pay attention to Mother Earth.”
If anyone wants to see some of the other Amazon reviews for the Ishmael book, here’s a link:

I’ll be surprised if the MSM points the finger of blame in this direction...
You said: “Yea, about these pictures. Caller on Savage show noted they were perfectly centered...hard to do if someone isnt helping you, caller noted.”

At times, Cho can be seen leaning forward to turn off the camera, suggesting that he shot the videos himself.
“What he complained about was people who were snobs and brats, who had gold chains, Mercedes, vodka and trust funds”
This is the lifestyle jihadists despise and want to destroy.
Now THIS is interesting speculation about “Ishmael.”
In the book, an ape named Ishmael communicates telepathically to an angry and disturbed young man, and the ape Ishmael spouts leftist drivel to the young man in the form of “you have done this” (i.e., destroyed planet earth) and “you have done that” (etc.) which is similar to the way Cho rants “You have” done this or that in his videos. Of course, the disturbed young man takes the ape’s sayings as being great wisdom (LOL).
This seems like a more interesting speculation on the Ishmael point than any other so far.

Did he mention 9-11? I only heard/watched a tiny snippet of the video shown on NBC and haven’t read much of what he’s written yet (I briefly glanced at the one play he wrote and other excerpts of his writings that were released). It certainly wouldn’t surprise me if anything he said relating to 9-11 isn’t broadcasted - we’re supposed to forget we were attacked, imo.
A link?
Anything????
Other than "I was watching TV" that is.....
College students get credit card offers all the time, by mail, at the student union, and welcome back packages.
Citibank knows the students have little or no income, but they get it out there. And, somebody will pay the bill.
“Hi Dad, please send money.”
we’ll have to pay attention to what is reported that the FBI find on his PC.
I'm with you sister.
I'm with you sister.
What this guy did that day is never going to make any logical sense. To infer that there is some sort of conspiracy or terrorist plot underneath this just because what he did is illogical is a false assumption. The guy was insane. Nothing he did is going to make any kind of rational sense to a healthy person. I guess it is fun for some to imagine that NBC, jihadis, and the federal government have some sort of conspiracy to cover up the truth, but the truth is probably pretty mundane.
A homicidal wacko went on a killing spree. It’s not the first time and probably won’t be the last. I wish the media would pay less attention to him (because, certainly, this is what he wanted) and more attention to the promising lives that were cut short by this evil person.
No mention of Allah, no mention of Palestinians, OBL, the WOT, or even President Bush.
And don't say that NBC cut all of that out...it's not in there, it's not in his plays, and you're reaching.
Cho had a martyr complex as well as paranoia ( they're all out to get me/you made me do this/you have blood on your hands ) and class envy. He rails against people who wear gold chains, have trust funds, drink vodka and drive Mercedes.
How many kid at Tech drive a Mercedes? I bet not many.
He never rails against America.
Everyone.
Exactly. But some people like to imagine all sorts of stuff that just isn’t there.
it’s in writings and some legaleze on Hardball mentioned it and said he read it as well.
I’ve been reading up on it (missle sightings, etc.) since I last posted. Interesting and frightening.
I imagine that anyone who sends material to a media outlet automatically transfers copyright to said media outlet. At the end of every show that solicits video they say “your material becomes property of us once you send it in.” I’m guessing there is probably a law on the books that codifies that.
someone mentioned that...I based my obs on the initial report of the color...and no witness said he was wearing the school colors..it is an interesting aside, I seemed to remember that Islamic Military wear a colored(?) hat...but I can’t find a picture.....
