Just heard anchorette report this on pMSNBC
I dunno. Are their names Ismailsen, or Yangabdulah?
I like this site. I’ve read many posts that have been informative and interesting and articles I would have never known about if I hadn’t read them here.
So is it AX or Axe? He was an English major, after all.
I too hope that people here stop seeing reality through a fiction driven prism, because if they don't, they will not be able to handle reality, when it DOES finally bite them.
I agree with you.
Good post.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, sure, okay, now I get it....cartoons are your frame of reference. That makes a lot of sense. LOL
Metaphors are meant to be odd, and out of place, unless you have the understanding, or the key to what he saw as truth.
That's why he had it tattooed on his arm and used it repeatedly as a sort-of assumed identity. Because it meant absolutely nothing to him.
It's possible, I guess. It's also the least likely scenario I've heard since the speculation started.
FROM HENCE FORTH THIS NEWS AGENCY WILL NO LONGER PROVIDE THE NAME OF NUTJOBS WHO GO OUT AND KILL PEOPLE IN A MURDEROUS KILLING SPREE. THOSE B*ST*RDS WANT THE ATTENTION. WELL, WE'RE NOT GIVING IT TO THEM. STARTING TODAY, WE WILL REFER TO THEM SIMPLY AS MURDERING LOSERS OR SICK B*ST*RDS. NOR WILL WE SHOW THEIR F*CK*NG FACES UNLESS IT'S A PICTURE OF THEM AFTER THEY BLOW THEIR D*MN HEADS OFF.

You have been scooped by the competition for the final time. You're fired.
Regards, Publisher.
Well stated. I'm so old but as a young nurse worked in one of those "nut houses" for some time. We even used insulin shock therapy in those days. We had about two drugs to use. The advent of modern psychiatric drugs led to treating outpatient. And then of course the changes in insurance sealed it so now these people walk among us. Like you say it is our freedom. Scary.
Shore up *what* theor? I put forward
no theory to shore up. I admitted that
i may havereported something that was
wrong, about his family and house, but
that is all. What H&C said, is for them
to support or refute. As Colmes would say,
you’re trying to conflate my mizstake with
other things you want to say are wrong, and
make *me* out to be an idiot, but it’s
your own facility that you are putting on display.
Mohammed Atta did the same thing.
When I say he had help, I’m talking about the whole thing.
We’ll see who is foolish and who isn’t when the letters are released, if they ever are.
You said — “Your comparisons re: Freepers and jihadists who hate enough to behead and sacrifice chilren is despicable.”
Well, you’ve made a link that I never made. I never said FReepers were hating enough to behead and sacrifice children. You simply have not read this properly.
I said that the hate can be the same — in terms of hate — but I’ve never said that it was the same in terms of actions. Note carefully that I mentioned hate but not sinning in one’s hate. You see, hate is not sin, when it is the same kind of hate that God has, which is towards sin and toward evil. As I said, you’re simply not reading very carefully, and then you’re making linkages that I’ve never made. You’ve got to learn to be more precise than that.
And once again, in case you missed it the first time, the jihadists hatred is *implemented* using things and methods which are evil deeds and evil actions. Did you “get that”? I “hate” to have to emphasize these things for you, to point them out, but I guess I have to.
And, the “hate” that some FReepers exhibited — in deed and action (on the other hand), wasn’t in the same category as what I pointed out about the Jihadists (in their deeds and actions). Again, you’ve got to learn to be more precise and exact in these things and distinguish what is being said.
The FReepers were rightfully hating the evil actions and deeds of Clinton. They were despicable, almost as much so as the Jihadists (but I think they’ve got the edge on Clinton, in that category).
Do you get it now. The hate is there on both sides. One is a hatred that God has, towards all the evil and wicked deeds of the world and towards sin. You should hate with as much energy and power as the jihadists, towards those things. That’s proper.
The jihadists, on the other hand, hate with an unjustified hatred — one which they direct towards the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob — and the people who come from that God (i.e., the “Christians and the Jews”). Thus they have this hatred of America and Israel, as in their minds, we’re both representative of the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob (little do they know that half the people in this country aren’t representative of God...).
Thus, this hatred of theirs is a hatred directed towards the good things of God, and thus, their hatred is unjustified and is grounded in evil deeds and actions to carry out that same hatred. The Christian’s hatred is not directed towards the good things of God, but towards the evil of the world — and is not grounded in evil actions and deeds and he (or she) does not sin in this hatred.
There’s a world of difference in where the hatred is directed and how it is carried out. This make all the difference in the world in comparing the two different hatreds.

Star Traveler
P.S. — I realize that most people use the concept of “love” in terms of God, but that is a limited viewpoint. God is love, He is righteousness and He is hatred, too — and all of that is just and righteous and perfect.
Not being computer savvy at all, I didn't even know that such a thing existed, until you posted the link and I still don't know what that is, after looking at it.
Cho was insane, there's no way any of us are ever going to know what it means, unless he wrote about somewhere and somebody tells us what he meant.
Finally, a voice of reason.
