I think Duncan Hunter is a decent guy who must be embarrassed that this kind of childish crap is posted in his name, on every thread.
Today was a terrible tragedy and it’s shameful that Giuliani can’t even offer prayers for the dead and their families, without ridicule.

I’ll tell you why. Because I wanted each one to have their own thread with their own supporters on it. They all have ping lists with supporters. Why should it all be connected and to have it all being bombarded by the Rudy haters. You know as well as I do they can destroy a thread in two seconds flat. Why should the other threads be subjected to this venom?
And before that it was Harriet Myers, and before that it was Dubai, and before that it was Terri Schiavo, and before that it was Schwarzennegger...
Back off, show some class, there are 32 dead kids out there, try showing some respect.
If they had their way they would say in some way Rudy was responsible for 9/11... oh wait....some have already had. Silly me!~

Every single victim of today's massacre had already reached the age of majority and could legally own a firearm for their personal protection. Every one of them had a God-given right to defend themselves using such arms. Every one of them could be responsible enough and old enough to carry and use weapons of far greater firepower in the armed forces in Iraq or Afghanistan. We're not talking about schoolchildren who have to rely upon the protection of their schools and the adults in them. We're talking about ADULTS who are fully capable of defending themselves if only they would be allowed to exercise that right.
People like Rudy Giuliani have created and perpetuated an anti-gun atmosphere that has lead to ADULTS, such as the students on the Virginia Tech campus, being forced to remain totally defenseless against such attacks. This gunman operated for 3 HOURS and not one single armed adult could be found to stop him. The adult students were forced to cower in classrooms and be herded and lined up on a wall to be shot execution style. The adult police took refuge behind trees instead of storming the building and taking out the shooter. SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG in a country where that could happen. Something is seriously wrong when our own Constitution recognizes and protects our God-given right to defend ourselves and WE AREN'T ALLOWED TO DO SO ANYMORE. Something is seriously wrong with politicians and elected officials who continue to infringe upon our right to protect ourselves. And something is seriously wrong with people who support those gun-grabbing politicians.

If Rudy had passed VA's gun laws no one in the state would own a gun except criminals and homicidal maniacs like the one who shot 31 helpless, unarmed young people today.
Having 25,000 unarmed and helpless students "protected" by a handful of unarmed campus rentacops really worked out well didn't it? Today's tragedy vividly illustrates what can easily happen whenever politically correct gun banners like Rudy and the VA TEC administrators make the laws of any school, city, state, or nation. A relatively few legally armed adult students and/or faculty members might well have stopped the slaughter before it got started. But with no legally armed good guys on campus, the illegally armed maniac was able to kill at will until armed LEOs arrived.
Today's tragic events are just another very important reason not to elect a proven anti-gun extremist like Giuliani to even the least powerful office in government, much less to the most powerful office in all the nation.
the gun laws the prevented CCW on campus - were passed by the state representatives of Virginia, elected by the people. take it up with them.
how many campus shootings per year are even some modest percentage of an armed college body going to result in - drunks at frat parties, etc. what criteria are you going to use to limit gun possession to a “relatively few legally armed students”? once the law permits it, any non-felon can sign up.
a better case to be made is that of armed faculty.

Giuliani has abundantly demonstrated the exact same anti-gun, anti-self defense mentality that today guaranteed that the VA Tech shooter would have a risk-free environment in which to do his bloody work. Neither he nor any other anti-RKBA politician can be allowed to get his or her hands on the levers of power in the US government.
what states allow guns on campus? your obsession with Rudy ignores the point that these laws are ALREADY ON THE BOOKS in most states, and Rudy had nothing to do with passing them.

I heard a commentator on TV say that Virginia is a “Concealed Weapon” state, which means anyone who hasn’t been convicted of a felony and is of age can carry, EXCEPT ON A COLLEGE CAMPUS!
Their point was that faculty members should be exempt from that rule so that maybe one of them could have stopped this maniac before he killed 32 people!

the students - I’m not so sure.
You know....I posted just once on this thread, in an effort to try to keep today in perspective. And all I got, in response, was politics and rancor.
