Ah yes, a nice ad-hominem attack, when you can't debate the argument.
Basically, that's W... he surely hasn't been very strong on much domestically for the last few years. I was hoping for better.
FGS! Can you possible be more short sighted?
Think Commander in Chief.
“IF” Guiliani is the only one standing between Hillary and the White House he gets my vote. Our military does NOT deserve Hillary or any other damn cut and run democrat.
I will vote for the GOP nominee regradless.
Unfortunately for your thesis, the WOT is not the only issue. Immigration is actually a bigger security issue, IMO, and abortion just a big a moral one.
And, even with a R president, such a Rudy, the WOT will be lost if we can’t kick the Dhimmis out of Congress.

Historically, the Republican nominee will shift his positions to the left for the general election, in order to capture votes from moderates, independants and undecided voters.
Can you just imagine Rudy moving left of where he is now??
I won’t vote for him now, nor will many others.
So how many more voters will he lose when he starts his shift leftward?
He may be many things, but conservative ain’t one of them.
Btw, this is about more then any one single issue and you know it. Rudy`s record shows a life time of support for liberal issues and liberal causes. No doubt about it. Rudy supports big government Republicanism, gun control, an assault weapons ban, abortion on demand, partial birth abortion, special rights for homos, amnesty for illegals, Campaign Finance Reform and the liberal idea that humans are a significant cause of global warming. I don't consider that a conservative record.
Rudy and his surrogates can spin their rhetoric and obfuscate his record forever, won’t change the facts.
“Rudy is a ‘conservative’. He’s socially liberal, politically conservative.”

Sure, Rudy’s a conservative—if you overlook that his positions on abortion, families and children, “gun control” & immigration (and other issues) are directly opposite of the Republican party platform (above).
On the other hand, how long has it been since the GOP was conservative?
“A very large, perhaps majority, segment of conservatives are socially L, politically C.”

The only trolls I see around here are the extremists who are trying to hold the Party hostage to a social religious agenda most of America does not want. So to any of those who say they will not vote for the Republican candidate unless he meets their religious test I say, don't let the screen door hit you in the a$$.
BTW, extremism does not equal conservatism in any manner.
But most other Americans will vote for Rudy. Get used to it.
If one supports Rudy, you’re either a liberal or a conservative sell out. There is no in between.
Just because who’ve lost your mind and decided voting for Rudy the liberal is the right move, doesn’t mean ALL Republicans are obligated to follow your insane decision.
There is no such thing as a 100% conservative candidate. And Rudy is the furthest thing from a conservative running on the GOP side. You’ve made up your mind and so have I. I choose not to betray my conservative roots.
Personally, I've voted for candidates whose religious views are alien to me for 20 years.
“But most other Americans will vote for Rudy.”
“”Under no circumstances will I cast a vote for Rudy Giuliani as president, no matter whom he is running against.”
Farah’s a loon.”
I hope Farah remembers these words each and every day for the 8 years of Hillary’s rule.
Farah is a gasbag.
And his family makes lousy pants.
Most FReepers are social conservatives and most are Christians too. If you look at the polls you’ll see that most FReepers oppose Rudy Giuliani`s candidacy. I don’t see any religious extremism on FR. I see good old fashioned constitutional conservatism being promoted. And in my opinion, that sure beats the hell out of promoting liberal candidates like Giuliani and political liberalism.
I'd much rather endure four years of Hillary than eight years of a liberal Republican and/or Democrat, all while the Republian minority in Congress continues to shrink.
Let's can the "traitor" crap.
