I have a 9mm Ruger and I have some clips that hold 40 rounds. I can change clips in about 2 seconds.

I have hi-cap mags for my Browning Hi-Power that hold 32. I also practice with a couple of rounds in a mag just to hone my skill at changing mags, firing two shots, changing mags, firing two shots...etc. 2 seconds is about average.
