Police: At Least 21 Dead After Virginia Tech University Shooting
The school's Web site earlier said one shooter was in custody and officials searched for a second shooter as "part of routine police procedure," but during the press conference Monday, police said they believe there was only one shooter.Perhaps somebody can explain how the police can believe there was only one shooter yet maintain that the shootings at opposite ends of campus could be unrelated. If there is only one shooter, then the shootings are related. If the shootings are not related, there has to be more than one shooter.Police also said there is no evidence the two shootings at opposite ends of campus were related.
That’s a ridiculous statement from the police. IMO, there’s almost zero chance that two serious shootings on a campus at the same time are unrelated.
