Governor just declared a state of emergency in Virginia..CNN
Why do that?
The cops wishfully thought that he must have he left the state. He hadn't.
So was he targeting someone specific within that building and making it look like a random mass attack? It’s worth considering, but we’ll probably never know.
Agent one, said it felt like Saigon, (then agent two responded.)
There are a number of indications that this was an organized killer. Chaining the doors, abundant ammunition, bullet proof vest, serial numbers removed, timing, perhaps an accomplice creating a diversion, potentially bomb scares to test security. This doesn't appear to be a jilted lover gone crazy in a moment of passion.
good question.
No.
Hannity said today’s VT event was on last week’s episode of “The Unit”.
Delta Force responds to a “presitgious” Viginia school hostage/murder scene.
Anybody see last week’s “The Unit”?
Why? Who says it was a large cell or that Al Queda is going to warn America that attacks like these are coming? Until proven otherwise it is a terrorist attack. This is a very well planned attack like we have seen worldwide.
Pray for W and Va Tech
Possibly. Certainly there will be an investigation as to the origin of these guns.
To me, this seems to be more of a Columbine incident than a terrorist attack, even if the Norris Hall killer is a foreign national. I think we'll find some prior connection from him to that engineering building.
I'm willing to be patient regarding the investigation. You can be sure that it will be thorough and that will take some time. Once this guy is identified, his residence will be thoroughly searched, including phone records, computer files, etc. This will take weeks to complete, even though the entire country is demanding answers now.
There is a temptation for law enforcement to feed the press, but information based on preliminary information looks like a contradiction when the full picture is known and the earlier information proves incorrect.
The guy is dead, and he won't be shooting anyone else. The urgency to know everything about him right this minute isn't based on any new threat he might pose.
On his way back from Japan, I heard.
Could he have had on a suicide belt/vest?
If so and he set it of and the feds admitted it, then they will have to call it terrorism.
Yes, it should raise flags!
200, eh? Sounds like somebody needs to make sure them security golf carts are juiced regularly.
We’re all angry and need to be reminded to withold judgment pending the facts. Just hope we don’t get another politicized 9/11 Commission Report
NEW TWIST:
Someone On My Other Thread Found This:
BEIJING Lawmakers from China’s restive western Muslim region said Friday that 18 suspects killed in a raid on an alleged terror camp in January had links to Al Qaeda and the Taliban.
Shi Dagang, a lawmaker from the Xinjiang region, also confirmed that 18 people from the East Turkestan Islamic Movement, or ETIM, died in the raid and 17 others were arrested.
“They had close connections to Al Qaeda,” Shi said at a news conference during China’s annual legislative session.
“There terrorists were trained by the Taliban in Afghanistan and sent to China by them,” Shi said, adding that more than 1,500 semi-assembled grenades were seized in the raid east of China’s border with Kyrgyzstan.
Hell, they don’t even know is there is still a shooter out there. All they know is that the active shooting situation has ended.
I didn’t see it.
A state of emergency for the whole state? After the horrific event is over? That doesn’t make much sense to me. Any ideas?

You may be right. But of course I may also be right. Thanks for the input.
