Point taken. Yes they would be proud of it and the silence seems to make that unlikely just like a suicide with a pistol to the back of his head seems unlikely as well

I guess the next question should be......why were all the LEO’s and officials safe......and 30 some students were executed......this is a one shot situation.......
Difficult, and maddening...but let’s face the truth FR....
Of course they know more than they’re sharing.
They have to hold a lot of information back for investigative purposes.
Not to mention, FAMILIES ARE STILL BEING NOTIFIED.
If you’ve never been in law enforcement or close to someone who has served, please don’t second-guess cops.
Some are Barney Fifes but I highly doubt an entire police force is.
A University police force is trained to deal with lots of domestic issues—there are countless boyfriend/girlfriend disputes that turn violent on campus. Security of students is first place. Keeping an open campus is their second mandate. That means anyone can come in and shoot. And the bigger the campus, the easier it is.

I don’t think all Va schools are canceled—the ones in Montgomery Co. (Blacksburg) are closed.

I never thought the campus should be shut down or locked down. I know about colleges...large and small. 2 sons through college...youngest at UNT. I worked dispatch for LE. I know how it works. I’m not down on LE at all in this situation.
I am confused about the number of shooters. If the chief can’t tell that info., then don’t put it out there without a description.
I blame the killer for this.

If the FIRST shooting was supposed to be the Boyfriend killing the girlfriend, then people would KNOW HIS NAME!!!
That's what it sounds like.
They thought the person of interest was shooter #1, they tracked him down, off campus, found him and started questioning him when the second shooting happened.
If that is accurate they make a very big mistake.
