No thanks. Rudy can’t even read and understand the Constitution and as AG he would have more freedom to practice his gun banning.

Well Dr. Piss,

That seemed like a fair critique. It’s up to Rudy to respond. His most active supporters are getting hung out to dry by his passiveness on key issues.

I am happy you didn’t do the expected “Rudy in a dress” thing, but some of the more juvenile Freepers did. C’mon guys. Grow up.

I will vote for Hillary. At least she wears pants and will appoint real liberals to the bench and I can say I told you so.

“then they are delusional!”

I’d have to agree. The only place he has won an election the voters are 80% liberal Rats.

It stands to reason that liberal Rats are the majority of his voter base.

The views of those 80% don’t come close to the majority of National Republican voters. I fear they are blind to that fact.

Although Hillary is heinous, to be sure, at least she’s honest and doesn't call herself a conservative.

I would agree except for the BIG PROBLEM that JulieAnnie has-- with that darn, old, really annoying, irriating, and pesky--Second Amendment.

Head of FEMA is the PERFECT job for him!!!

Why would so-cons abondoned the Repubs? You got what you wanted...the gay marrage menace...stem cell veto...the flag burning menace...the evils of internet poker were banned. It was the fiscal and libertarion conservatives who were stiff armed. Try that again and you’ll lose Fla,PA and Ohio for good.

If 2008 came down to a choice between Her Thighness, Hillary Clinton, or Rudy, how would you choose? I’m not saying to answer now, but this may eventually be the reality of the situation.

The most important national security issue is our standing with God. Callously wiping out His tiny icons gets on His nerves. And I really don't want to get on God's nerves.

If I had to choose between baby killers, I'd vote for the Constitution party instead of endorsing open season on the unborn.

Of course, if there is no God in heaven, than this point is moot, and elections are nothing more than, as the Baltimore curmudgeon put it, "Advance auctions on stolen goods."

“You can fill in the rest....lol”

OK if good ol boy conservatism is so popular why do all trends show otherwise? Bush at 30%...George Allen getting the boot. People under 30 now identify with the dims by a whopping 30% over repubs. Keep it up and you’ll be left with a few guys in Utah and Alabama and a few folks in the old folks home.

Geeez...Pres Bush's BIG SPENDING ways hardly endear him to 'good ol boy conservatism'.

Since my other Reagan quote didn't work, I'll try this one,,,

"So, it was our Republican Party that gave me a political home. When I signed up for duty, I didn't have to check my principles at the door. And I soon found out that the desire for victory did not overcome our devotion to ideals".
--Ronald Reagan remarks at the Republican National Convention in New Orleans, August 15, 1988.

Unlike many JulieAnnie apologists--most conservatives will NOT being checking anything at the door.

The '06 election proves that the socons don't have the political power to sway elections anymore, yet the political sophomores still can't figure it out.

This has become a Rudybot mantra, but I don't know how you come to this conclusion. Because some prominent social conservatives lost? And you then attribute this to the social conservatism? Please provide proof.

I was right with you up until you wrote, ‘New York Yankee’. What are the references to Rudy and cross dressing about?

Better a democrat with an energized oppposition than a leftist “Republican” who will get everything he wants.

I have said the same thing many time, but never so eloquently.

Bears repeating.

‘Just look at the ‘06 Election—where 13 million votes were cast for Libertarian Party candidates (includes state, local, etc. elections). I submit that many of those were frustrated conservatives—frustrated with the continued movement to the LEFT. JulieAnnie will ACCELERATE THAT LEFTWARD movement—so even MORE will abandon the Party.

If you want to split the Party WIDE OPEN—JULIEANNIE IS JUST THE MAN FOR THE JOB!!”

Exactly.

OMG!! "..at least she’s honest..

What??!! Hillary? Honest? Do you often find heinous people to be honest? You don't think she was behind stealing all those FBI files? Does Whitewater ring a bell? Ron Brown?

Exactly. As I oft state here,,,

"Liberal Republicans like JulieAnnie are MORE DANGEROUS than liberal democrats,,,,

because liberal Republicans BLUR THE DISTINCTION between liberalism and conservatism,,,

making LIBERALISM MUCH MORE ACCEPTABLE"!!
