"He [Imus] didn't just cross the line," Mr. Obama said in an interview with ABC News. "He fed into some of the worst stereotypes that my two young daughters are having to deal with today in America."[SNIP]
Before Obama's speech, the crowd was warmed up by a performance by Nappy Roots, a popular hip-hop group.[SNIP]
U.S. Sen. Barack Obama, contemplating a run for president, met privately with rapper Ludacris to talk about young people.

Basically: Obama is worried about what his daughters are exposed to, but has no problem meeting with Ludacris to discuss "lighting the way for the nation's youth" or some such...
And who are you calling a ho, ho?

Then tell me who Obama's daughters are better off listening to.. Don Imus or Nappy Roots.
The liberals really get upset when it is their ox that gets gored. They sure don’t get upset over anything that fat lesbo Rosie has to say.
make no mistake about it. This is all about “anything goes” liberalism corrupting the cultural norms of decency and undermining the real meaning of free speech, too.
Not the “Nappy Roots” along with grand concern for his daughter’s well being, this farce just never ends, Sharpton and Jackson excoreated the Duke Lacrosse players last year, and yet they refuse to offer any apologies.
This entire story seems to be a liberal version of “A modest proposal”. They ended up eating one of their own, whil at asame time demonstrating the hypocrisy that the liberals are so (in)famous for...
“The Nappy Roots”
You gotta be kiddin’ me!
Ya know, he's right. We have got to be more sensitive to the plight of these two young girls. Puhleeeze, everybody, lets put aside partisan politics and acknowledge the horrors of having two parents who are Harvard Law--one a Senator, the other a big bucks hospital exec--as well as the terror of living in a Chicago mansion. Not to mention how awful it must be to have the media fawning over your father all the time.
Ya know, I’ve been reading and listening to all kinds of fancy footwork various black leaders engage in when asked why it’s okay when black hoppers engage in N-word and HO-word gymnastics, and why Imus has been flambed for the same offense.
I’ve even read “explanations” of why this is on MBs with a lotta offended blacks.
I still can’t figure it out. The closest they’ve come is that it’s a black thing, and they’re offended by whites asking logical questions (blacks don’t have to answer to whites about anything.) I never could figure out how blacks could NOT be offended by their own community’s use of the N and HO words.
But then, I never believed that anyone is an automatic member of a group based on their pigmentation. Apparently this groupthink is a huge issue among blacks (leaving the individualists screwed and forced to shut up by other blacks.)
Any thoughts on this? Or explanations?
all the time. It's cute...
“He fed into some of the worst stereotypes...”
This could certainly be said of Sharpton and Jackson regarding the Duke lacrosse players last year. Why aren’t they being held accountable, now that the world knows these young men are innocent?
