NBC is pimping the appearance of anti-president Nancy Pelosi on tonight's Tonight Show with Jay Leno, April 12, 2007 at 11:35 EDT. If you have the stomach to watch, please post your impressions here as SanFranNan upholds the dignity of her office.
I bet half or more of the audience doesn’t even know or care who the hell she is.
It wasn’t a waste of time for Pelosi and the libs/dems...they had her on spewing her propaganda..to a bigger audience than has probably ever seen her before.
She was QUEEN Pelosi...

like I said, she is totally clueless. I guess she hasn’t seen those videos of Middle Eastern kids as young as 3 yrs. old learning to hate and want Jews and Americans dead..
San Fran Nan seemed extremely nervous to me. Didn't make a lot of eye contact with Leno. That tells me she's LYING through her teeth, but we FReepers already know that on a daily basis.
Disappointing that Julia Louis-Dreyfus is patting Pelosi on the shoulder, seemingly enamored with her. Then again, I think I had read somewhere that Julia's a big lib. I think her dad was some big WWII hero...

I don’t know about scared, but uncomfortable would not be a stretch. She ran off the whole list of Dem talking points without taking a breath. Leno actually does a pretty good job with the politicos. He has a pretty good grasp of what the average non-freeper American is thinking and is respectful and lets them talk. He also tries to ask a couple of relevant questions though of course he doesn’t interogate. He leans somewhat Dem, but has had a number of Reps on including an upcoming visit by Fred on May 4th. I am sure he will have all the main candidates on in time.
He has said he is not real political, but considers himself to be socially liberal and conservative on fiscal and foreign policy. Based on his comments when Dennis Miller has been on I think that is a fair assessment.

The Prez needs to put a halt to Lantos’ proposed trip to Iran in a hurry.
Pelosi,et al, could not have been able to go to Syria without US governemnt planes and personnel. That means we paid for this crap.
The President has to say there will be no trips to North Korea, Syria, Iran by anyone other than the State Department, Period.
Otherwise they can take Continental Airlines and pay for their own security.

I would venture to say that most in the audience of Leno's show (plus Letterman's, Conan's, etc.) don't even know what a "Speaker of the House" is. Yet, they will vote still democRAT come election time because "democRATs are for the little people..."
I'll do it: Excessively nervous, fails to make eye contact, looking for validation from the (very quiet) audience, looks as stiff as a board sitting in that chair, and her face doesn't move easily or in sync. Conclusion: Everything Pelosi is saying is a LIE.
