It was just announced on the "Mike and the Mad Dog Show" on WFAN (Imus's home base): Imus is out of a job on radio as well.
He will not even be on the air tomorrow.
This is astounding.
I do not think he should have been fired but I heard his ratings were about as bad as Keith Overbite.

The Rutgers basketball team has been scheduled to appear on the Oprah show.
So far, the Duke LAX team hasn't been scheduled....
And when John Gibson told Bo that they lost Dick’s satellite, Bo said “That’s good for now.” LOL!
This will be shown again that is for sure. You guys have to see John Gibson when they re-show it tonight. Dickmorris.com is self promoting and he and Bo Dietle (sp) were yelling and screaming at each other. Bo told Dick to come make him shut up.
Wikipedia is super fast. They had edited Robert Gates’ wiki entry before it even became official that he would replace Rumsfeld. I was impressed.
I heard a black comedian, Patrice Oneil, on the radio this morning saying just how bad this would be for everyone. He understood the implications.
He remained on the air after that. I'm sure he's said offensive things about lots of people, and gotten away with it.
I guess he crossed a real line this time. I don't like what he said, but how is this worse than what he's said before? And one of the girls saying it's changed her life forever, or something like that? Now THAT is sad.

When Al Shaprton stands in front of Black Rock and says “I’m sure CBS will do the right thing,” HE DID IT.
We all know how this is done; we’ve seen it for years.
