He’s only 66 years old? He looks at least 86. Good riddance to him.

(As for me, I will remain neutral...for the time being.)

- Radio personality said something incredibly stupid.
- Radio personality fired.
- Radio personality looks for next job.
Nothing new here. Just higher-profile than usual.

One on one hand I feel a little sorry for him but not much. If I say something stupid, there are consequences. Imus should know that actions has consequences.

CBS is about to get a lesson in Market Economics 101They understand economics... No Sponsors = no program.

Sharpton/Jackson were going to shakedown Imus for a year’s salary, $10 million!
CBS preempted that to preserve their pristine image and it looks like the money is off the table.
Imus goes to satellite radio in three months or less.
BTW - Imus is an OK guy (disclaimer) but he is an untalented and bigoted jackass. He deserves everything he got.

I guess Imus DIDN’T stroke that “I apologize” check.

What do you think Imus is?!? You obviously haven’t heard his show.

The gloves can come off.
I’m reminded of Al Pacino’s role in “Scent of a Woman” when the college president tried to silence him.

It’s not over; Keith Olbermann gave Jesse Jackson a LIST last night — Boortz, Rush, Savage, Beck, Sean — complete with pictures and said, “What about these guys? Aren’t you going to go after them?”
It’s NOT over.

CBS is about to get a lesson in Market Economics 101You're 100% right about that. Imus probably provided 50% of the revenue for WFAN in New York.

I always hated his radio show anyway. It never was any good. He was always being proppped up by the libs. Now they don’t prop him up, and he falls. No surprise there.

He just an ant on a mountaintop. Can’t wait until he gets squished.

He’s on Cavuto right now....doesn’t sound like he’s turning on him. Said he’s in shock. Saying that it’s irresponsible..they were right in the middle of a telethon.

So ... I would think the meeting with the Rutgers women’s basketball team will be canceled. He’s already apologized to them several times, nothing more to be gained by meeting with them ... they got their pound of flesh.

I think she and her opposition research are at the bottom of the whole thing.
To: Exit148
Yes, he does; and so does Keith Olbermann.
