The Left have always wanted to get rid of Talk Radio because they can't compete in the arena of ideas. They see this episode as an opportunity. Last night, Olberman led with the question, what about Limbaugh, Savage, Beck and Boortz. Zahn on CNN had a similar piece.
Pathetic yet a little frightening the way these people think and what they are willing to do.

The Left have always wanted to get rid of Talk Radio because they can't compete in the arena of ideas. They see this episode as an opportunity. You are correct. Al Dullton & Co. see Imus as the start, Rush, Hannity, etc. are next.
I know a lot of folk on FR aren't Imus fans, but this really isn't about Imus, it's about control of talk radio.

The truth is that the left cannot win as far as talk radio goes. Even if they were to get rid of the AM/FM radio talkers, the satilite world as well as the internet will welcome them with open arms because these are very safe areas.
