Tucker just read a news flash, announcing that they will no longer simulcast Imus at all, anymore.
I watch the classic tractor shows, occasionally the farm and ranch news, and the classic trains.
You should see the stupid emails they send out *L*
My take: The attempt at humor (dying is easy, comedy is hard) was clearly an attempt at irony. You see, the hip-hop community (which has NO opposition for it’s repugnant lyrics) routinely refers to women in general as bitches and ho’s. In discussing the NCAA womens b-ball tournament, Imus and one of his sidekicks affect street talk and call the Rutgers girls “nappy-headed ho’s”. Shock jocks shock, but the message, since it is delivered in street lingo (and badly done accents) is clearly how stupid the use of this type of language is despite it being widely accepted. Usually when someone on his program says something this offensive, they have someone else on the show explicitly point out how stupid and despicable that point of view is, not unlike the vile racist rantings of Archie Bunker being immediately put down by Mike and Gloria. Without this counterpoint, the less intelligent didn’t get the joke, which wasn’t really that good of a joke, and had as its butt a bunch of college kids. Had he called Condi Rice the same thing, I don’t think anything would have happened.
Last year Russert give Wyatt a train set as a present and all Wyatt wanted to know was where the nappy headed bro was that could stamp his travel ticket.
my local radio is reporting that CBS will be meeting with Al Sharpton tomorrow about Imus
Yeah — I think I’ve seen it — for about a minute. :0)
That’s right. I forgot about that book.
I really believe what goes around comes around. I just hope I’m still around when it happens for the good “reverend”.
HOW did you get on their list, Missy?
Know the enemy
I’m on Hellary’s email list too *L*
ROTFLOL! Seriously, LOL. You’re killing me.
Do you think it was mainly an NBC decision or was in something
GE got involved with? I am guessing MSNBC would not do this on their own.
Make that “reverends” — both Jackson and Sharpton.
Race hustling THUGS.
I applaud you for that -— I just “couldn’t.”
Then you'll get a kick out of this too...
English speakers in America need a rule book to tell us what people can say what words when, and under which set of circumstances. The rule book will be longer than the Patriot Act and will require weekly updates as new words and circumstances are added. Perhaps a Nasdaq-style ticker would be more efficient.- Ann Coulter http://www.humanevents.com/article.php?id=20224
And there lies the problem. Plus the libs always have cameras to multiply their “outrage”.
*sigh*
See now...you go WAY above and beyond to let us know what the enemy is doing.
All I do is watch C-span!! LOL
Knock it off-Water Mod here.Russert may be a bad word.
Don’t you find your reply a bit ironic? You’re telling him to shut up because you believe in “Freedom of Speech”?
Was just looking at the Moms Rising website. Looks like a coven of cookie baking feminazis.
LOL!
