This is dizzying in it’s complete loss of control. There really aren’t ANY grown ups in charge at MSNBC.

"In 1977, WNBC fired Imus for his cocaine and vodka habits and unprofessionalism; he had missed a hundred days of work in one year."Fortunately for Don, he seems to have had a lot of experience with being fired.

What I can’t figure out is, the MSM kept calling Duke Lacross accuser Crystal Gail Mangum a college student, and the college never got upset about it.
I find myself in the uncomfortable and unfamiliar position of agreeing with Howard Stern and Rosie (the big fat loud mouth lesbian) O’Donnell about this situation....

I heard some of that.
The double standard is getting BORING.
Something like he sings about real hos, the ones that want the brotha’s bling, not the hos that rise to a higher level and play college basketball.

Breathtaking for sure! Especially Keith Olberman, he’s decrying the rotten culture when his job is to pollute our country by spewing lies, hatred, and slanders against our president and vice president.

PMSNBC & NBC may have shot the golden goose. Viewership on the mothership is down and PMSNBC will wilt much closer to zero than one.
With that said, and I don't like what Imus said, his freedom of speech, and possibly ours, has been totally trampled upon. Be scared. PC has run amok!

Since he got canned and has nothing to loose he can tell those two to kiss his white ass. In "hindsight" had he any balls, he should have told the Nappy-Tag-Team to kiss his A__ up front....the end result would turn out to be the same....
He could have simply apologized to the team privately and not soiled his knees at the JJ and Al alternative reality alter.....
BTW...IMUS sucks anyway...I won't miss any sleep on this one.

To witness those he gave so much air time to (Craig Crawford now on MSNBC) say they were turned off by some of his and Bernie's comments makes my skin crawl.Oh my goodness, what a sorry display this has been all round.

If you include yourself in that statement, it would advance the cause. It takes us all to stop being Armchair Conservatives/Patriots to make the change.

Imus has lots of secrets. At least he’s hinted he does. I hope he comes out swinging soon.
To: JRochelle
What happened to Chris Matthews when he used the F word when refering to Bushs ranch?
Well, that's bad, but Bush is a professional politician, Imus insulted a bunch of college kids with an obvious racial slur. Imus had the right to say it, but I think the college kids also have a right to be offended, and NBC has a right to fire him.
A lot of these cases are blown out of proportion, but not this one.
