This is solely about more face-time for Crazy Al. I keep wondering why they went after Imus like they did .. they usually give libs a pass
I'm thinking it's more then just face-time for Al

So true. I hope Contessa Brewer and all the other people that Imus attacked personally and in a mean, crude way enjoy their bubbly tonight. . . He is a bully and this was karma!

They never even gave him a chance to redeem himself..And they all think they're such good people, the one's who wouldn't forgive Don and help him grow from his mistakes.
Imus has done more for the Black kids than Sharpton and Jackson have..Shame on those two.

Maybe there is some new amendment we haven’t heard of that prevents talk show hosts from being fired.

His employer fired him. How is that a violation of the 1st Amendment? You raise a valid point.
But, what chills me is: Who's next? Someone who speaks against Muslim terrorists? Won't that upset CAIR?

Correct.
Al merely falsely incited anti-Jewish riots, which resulting in Jews getting killed and massive property damage.
To: Peach
Yes...thanks, that’s his name ;^D
To: NittanyLion
Political correctness violated free speech. Yes, it did it through his employer, but the effect on all of is the same.
To: NickatNite2003
This is such B.S., what he said is wrong, but then again he says horrible stuff about everyone and no one seemed to care before. If that windbag Rosie is still on the air, then Imus should not be fired.

He would have been fired anyway if he had said it was a joke and moved on.
I think that is what Ann was trying to tell him.

I don’t like PC, but referring to college kids as “nappy-headed hos” is over the line.

He should have just said “hey I’m an a**hole, I do rough comedy, I’m sorry for the stupid racist remark” and nothing more, but he fell for the “apology route” which libs always see as weakness and they always go for more.
