Girly cars vs. Manly cars (Laura Ingraham)

I was listening to the Laura Ingraham radio show today and they were talking about how some cars are girly cars and some are manly cars. Laura was particularly mentioning that the Mazda Miata was a girly car. This was news to me. Her assisitant chimed in with saying the Mazda 3 was a girly car. This was also news to me. I'm in the market for a new car and was thinking of buying the MAzda 3 or a Miata. I've been told that the 3 has fewer service issues than other Mazda cars.

Of course one would gather that the manly cars would be trucks.

One girly car I've noticed is the VW Beetle. I've never seen a man driving one of those.

What do Freepers think? What cars are girly cars and what cars are manly cars.

My husband has a 1964 Pontiac GTO. Definitely a man's car. Alpha Male. (The first muscle car, actually.)

First bike I bought was almost a 1200 Sportster. After speaking with a female friend, it was quickly decided to step up to a Softail. The 883 is a girl’s bike and the 1200 is a dirtbike with a headlight.

They are a great ride. I’ve got 14K miles so far, with a rolling average of 18.9 mpg. The cyl. deactivation works. And 350hp are always their when you want them.

That car isn't that bad. At least it doesn't leave the factory looking like it's been wreaked and they pulled off parts from another car in a junk yard, like the Honda Element. Talk about gay.

"Buy an old, dirty pickup, dark color. Then buy a sledgehammer. Beat the hell out of one corner of it. scratch it up. add a few dents here and there. perhaps spill some blood along the fender. The Boxster S and the Cayman are the Porsches for men who aren’t compensating, and are in it for the performance and, especially, the twisty handling. Especially when compared to a base 911 (987).
