Nope, just a little bit PO'd about seeing threads yanked out of categories where they belong (and can actually help folks who want to do something), and other threads stay that aren't pertinent to the sidebars they are placed in.

The last time this happened was the night before the GOE and I posted a thread encouraging Freepers to call CSPAN about their snubbing the pro-America rally and tripping all over themselves to cover the communist rally, march and follow-up rally. That thread got yanked out of activism sidebar. Once Jim Robinson got back to his hotel from Freeping at Walter Reed in the sleet storm, he put it back where it belonged.

(And as a result of that thread, Freepers and GOE'ers phoned and email barraged CSPAN, some even got on the air and reamed CSPAN for blowing off the patriots' rally. In the weeks following their programming snub on March 17th, CSPAN has called and emailed Kristinn to find out when the next Support Our Troops event will be held. They felt the sting of PO'd patriots.)

That's activism.

Nope, she's right.

There's been a rash of BS with regards to the actions of some Mods. I realize it a volunteer effort and not easy, so I usually hold fire. But when doing things that hurt our goals I feel I have to speak up.

Especially when it happens to the type of thread that was successful in the past. During Hillary's first Senate campaign, we tied her up for about 3 weeks for not tipping a waitres. I mean it dominated the news coverage, she ducked the media and had to change her campaign theme to something other than "Invest in New York". All because of all thousands of the individual Freepers who pitched it on that.

We recently had the same opportunity and the call for that same tactic went into chat or blogs or something equally unseen.
