His response makes him look weak and petulant. Well if nothing else, at least he's on track with that "truth in advertising" thing. :)

Until Thompson declares, is he allowed to change positions, or not even have a position on every little detail? Or is he locked in, dating back to his birthday?
Kerry was beaten up as a waffler for trying to "nuance" everything, on a daily basis. In other words, he'd s__t his drawers in a 2 hole crapper while trying to make up his mind...

If Rudy is this “Squishy”, “The Balrog” would have made mincemeat out of him in ‘08.

i don’t think anyone has said he shouldn’t post here, i think the assertion was made, however, that no paid rudy campaign staffers post on FR. that is, obviously, incorrect.

Also from Rasmussen:
"Still, these numbers must be kept in perspective. While down from stratospheric levels, Giulianis numbers remain the highest of any 2008 Presidential candidate."

At least he’s honest enough to use his own name. The rest of us use pseudonyms. I’ve never seen Ed post anything in the middle of these threads. I don’t have a problem with it. I thought you were going to tell me Peach or Area51 or FairOpinion were Rudy staffers.

I said that I didn’t know of any. Now I do.

-—”Ah, I get it. What we called flip-flopping in John Kerry we applaud in Fred Thompson.
Not at all. Thompson still wants to reform campaign financing, he just wants to abandon a failed approach and try a different (and better, in my opinion) idea.
There’s a huge difference between flip-flipping your positions and correcting mistakes regarding implementation of a policy.”-—
You must have missed the several posts with his recent quotes implying he wouldn’t be against just “removing all limits and requiring full disclosure.”

Until Thompson declares, is he allowed to change positions, or not even have a position on every little detail? Or is he locked in, dating back to his birthday? I see. Until you declare you are not expected to have core beliefs.
LOL...
To: veronica
You asked for evidence of his numbers declining and that is what I gave you.
To: veronica
Does anyone know what his screen name is? And is he a pollster?

I wouldn’t be surprised in the least if a few of the other Rudy or Mitt supporters were paid staff, vendors, or top-level in-state volunteers. In fact, I would be surprised if they weren’t. Same with some of the other campaigns too. FR is a political site. Almost everyone wants to “play the game.” That’s just the way it is.

BTW - there is a GOP debate coming up. I would think Thompson should declare soon and get in on it, if he’s a serious candidate.
To: Peach
Does anybody besides me think it’s funny that we have political partisans whining about other political partisans posting here?

Hysterical. Once one can get beyond the hypocrisy, that is.
