You must lie and attack the credibility of anyone who disagrees with your faith. I know nothing about your personal life except that you are young, took a great deal of time to decide to get married and are not so happy about your decision, or your wife.
Too bad you are sealed for eternity....perhaps you can get that little matter resolved. Marie Osmond did.

If I cared to find the thread I am sure I could you were talking to a couple of people about what the church believes (and getting it wrong) and you kept saying “As a member of the church, I know what they teach” You did not say “As a former member of the church who’s name is only on the records because my mother asked me not to have it removed, and left the church over twenty years ago, I think I can still remember what they teach” When asked if you were currently a member, you said YES. I said your records would not have you in “Good standing” if a) the ward clerk was doing his job and b) you had not attended for 20 years. You would in fact be on the inactive list.

Disagreement I can handle, I can agree to disagree. The fact that I have friends of many denominations proves that. But when someone makes it their hobby to destroy the faith of active members I must fight that person like they were Satan incarnate for they are doing his work.

You have me confused with someone else. I am 41 (which is not OLD, but not young either, got engaged to my wife within a week of our first date, and am exceedingly happily married.

I know I am, and nothing could make me happier. As for Marie, I am not responsible for her choices.
Parralell logic would be....
"I'm still registered as a Democrat in good standing but am really Republican"
Your records are still in good standing because you don't have the courage to ask for them to be removed. Posting the temple garment and words is grounds for excommunication. You post anonymously on an open thread. Take your posts to your local Bishop and see what he has to say about it. You may not see the hypocrisy in your opposite stance in Public and a Private forum but others do.
