I still don’t consider that excusable. We were taught, in the Marines, that we give no info and your primary objective if captured is escape.....by any means possible. No where do I remember being taught to just sit there and “go along” with the captors.
What would’ve been a great thing to have come out of this is that (when I look at that picture of the British Sailor/Marine standing and chit-chatting face to face with Eichmann-dinejad) if that Sailor/Marine would’ve reached up and grabbed him by the sides of his head and just shoved both of his thunmbs into Little Eichmann’s eye sockets as hard as he could’ve.
I’m trying to figure out which guy in the whole group picture is the smiley (barf) guy in Post 16 picture. Any idea?

Most of us who have served in the military know exactly how we would react during such an ordeal. It’s all written in our Code of Conduct. I would not embarrass my country by wearing a scarf nor by smiling at any of my captors. I would make them explain why they killed me, and then where would their propaganda be?
