Thanks LS,that was a really good movie.
UGH! Absolutely HATED that movie. And I saw a free preview of it in college. Got to meet the director, too.
Do you feel lucky?
Can he ask IRAN that one?
Thanks Reaganesque.:)
FROM CASABLANCA:(Probably the movie with the greatest number of memorable quotes ever filmed - as in:)
Ilsa: How nice, you remembered. But of course, that was the day the Germans marched into Paris.
Rick: Not an easy day to forget.
Ilsa: No.
Rick: I remember every detail. The Germans wore gray, you wore blue.
Ilsa: Play it again Sam
Rick: Here’s looking at you kid.
Rick: Louie, I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Capt. Renaud: Round up the usual suspects.
“Love means never having to say you’re sorry!” What the heck does that mean anyway.Your right Clemenza:)
Well, come see a one eyed fat man some time!
The one from Galaxy Quest used most often around here:
“Look around you! Can you figure out some way to form some kind of ... rudimentary lathe!”
Thanks 2 Kool 2 Be 4-Gotten.
—Charlton Heston
Planet of the Apes
“Yippee kai ay, mother f***er!”
—Bruce Willis
Die Hard
“I love hit men. No matter what you do to them, you don’t feel bad.”
—Mickey Rourke (Marv)
Sin City
That was a great movie with great lines,Thanks appleharvey.
I got 2
In Harms Way
“We’ve got ourselves another war...a gut-busting, mother-loving Navy war!”
Mr. Roberts
“Captain, it is I, Ensign Pulver, and I just threw your stinkin’ palm tree overboard! Now what’s all this crud about no movie tonight?” OK maybe not your favorite, but I can’t count how many times we used that line in the Navy.
Charlie: Excuse me, Lieutenant. Is there something wrong?
Maverick: Yes ma’am, the data on the MiG is inaccurate.
Thanks chopperman.
"Here ya go, sugar. Buy yourself a cigar."
"I'd like to buy you dinner"
"A lot of guys would do that"
Just as soon make it breakfast"
-------
"What are you doing here Frank?"
"Going bad Jessie"
------------
"They all heard you call me a dirty name"
"I didn't say anything."
"And if they didn't, I did"
--------
"One day you will learn, White people stick together"
"They'd better"
--------
"You'd eat dog, fight over the bones too"
--------
"Try not to puke, you might have to lie in it a long time"
---------
"Looks like you did good and we did better"
--------
"Can I have my horse, I want to get out of here"
"Why, you scared of the dark?"
"Hell, I don't like what I see around here in the daytime"
---------
"If he moves shoot him once. If he tries to leave shoot him twice. If he tries to take the water empty your gun"
--------
"Hey Hombre! You have put a hole in ME!"
--------
"Cicero Grimes, meet John Russell"
Every line a gem but most importantly, every line moves the story and defines each character better. That is what words are for.
I remember that jiggyboy:)
