Thank you Irish.
Playing a waiting game right now.
She has surgery on May 31. Her tumor is surrounding her femoral artery and has occluded her femoral vein.
The vascular surgeon has ultra-sounded just about every vein in her body and she doesnt have one of sufficient size to repair her artery. He is going to take the functional part of the femoral vein to repair the artery and just stump the femoral vein.
She will have permanent swelling from the knee down but the pain of the tumor should improve.
She will also loose part of her hamstring muscle and part of an abductor muscle.. Then pathology will determine if the tumor is malignant or not and what further therapy is necessary.
A neural sheath tumor is very rare.
Im asking that you join with me in prayer for both her surgeons, for healing within in the realm of Gods plan for her and for her family as they endure this trial with her.
